A romantic and adventurous escape from reality!

A 5 Star Review of INESCAPABLE: Remembering second in the INESCAPABLE series.

After being rescued by Brad, Darcy finds herself 5 miles beneath the ocean off the coast of Peru in ORCA’s dome complex.
Darcy still does not remember who Brad is; all she knows is that he was the highest bidder at the action held by a human trafficker. What is even more disconcerting to her is the fact that her body’s response to Brad seems irrational given her current situation. Maybe Brad is who he says he is, and maybe they did have a relationship before the kidnapping. Will Darcy eventually remember who she is and her relationship with Brad, or will she have to rely on her body’s responses to decide if what Brad says is true?
Even though Brad managed to rescue Darcy, she is still not safe. Someone is set on removing Darcy from the picture in the hopes of breaking Brad; leaving the dome vulnerable to complete the task that Armando was to perform. Will the plan succeed, or will Brad foil the plan again as he keeps a close eye on his beloved Darcy?
Like her first book, INESCAPABLE: The Beginning, Gressley combines adventure and suspense to delight and captivate readers in Inescapable: Remembering. Even when wearing designer clothes, Darcy has an innocence and “down home” attitude that makes her character charming and easy to relate to. Brad is written to play the knight-in-shining-armor well; doting on Darcy while giving her space to figure out her feelings.
I found INESCAPABLE: Remembering to be a nice break from reality. I enjoyed the suspense and adventure aspects of the story, and found it to be easy to read after a long day at work.

A balanced, well-paced, and interesting story

INESCAPABLE: The Beginning

When Brad is suddenly called away to personally oversee repairs on a secret project in Lima, he promises Darcey that he will be home in a couple of weeks. When five weeks pass with no word from Brad, Darcey impulsively takes matters in her own hands and decides to travel to Peru in order to find out what has happened to her beloved.

Darcey reaches out to Brad’s partner, Armando, to help her reach Brad; not realizing that Armando is suspected of sabotaging the project, and is unwittingly playing into Armando’s plans for revenge against Brad. However, Armando never gets the chance to implement his plans because she is kidnapped by an employee of a human trafficker who knows that his boss can get top dollar for selling a delicate and seemingly innocent American woman to the highest bidder.

During the kidnapping, Darcey is injured. Between the injury she sustained and the drugs she was given during the kidnapping, Darcey suffers from amnesia. Confused and in a foreign land, Darcey can’t remember who she is, or why she is in Peru; what she does know is that she is being held against her will, with no discernible way of escaping.

Will Darcey find a way to escape, or will Brad realize what has happened and rescue Darcey before she is sold to the highest bidder? If he does rescue her; will she even remember him?

Inescapable: The Beginning by Madge H. Gressley contains several different elements: some action, intrigue, suspense, and romance. I was instantly charmed by Darcey’s character, and was engrossed in the book from the beginning to the end. The book had a fast pace, but it wasn’t a whirlwind of activity; the plot and the characters had depth and were well thought out; and I didn’t find the story line predictable.

I really enjoyed Inescapable: The Beginning by Madge H. Gressley; Gressley has managed to combine the elements of suspense, intrigue, and romance to create a balanced, well-paced, and interesting story. I am really looking forward to reading more about Darcey and Brad in the next book, Inescapable: Remembering.

Here are just of few of the reviews:

5.0 out of 5 starsHarkens to “Sphere” by Michael Crichton
An intriguing romance that reminds me of Michael Crichton’s “Sphere”. Thoroughly enjoyable read!

5.0 out of 5 stars – Murder, Mystery, Intrigue
What’s better than a book that encompasses mystery, intrigue, and romance? I cannot think of anything! As a new Indie Author Madge Gressley hits it out of the ball park with her debut novel. Inescapable, the first in a series, has enough mystery to keep the reader on the edge of their seats from page one, enough intrigue that it is able to continue to build throughout the book and enough romance to compliment the intrigue.
Inescapable takes readers on a wonderful journey from Dallas to three miles under water and from Lima to Morocco. The characters are so real that they almost jump off the page. The friendship between Darcey and Marti is so similar to friendships I have had, I could empathize and make an instant connection with each. The relationship Darcey and Brad have is awesome!
I won’t spoil the book for new readers but I will say this: once you start this book, you won’t be able to stop and when you reach the end if you don’t … then you need to reread it!
Take a chance on a new indie author! You won’t be disappointed! I promise!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars – Love it!
Loved it. It is full of mystery to keep the reader excited about the next chapter. Love to read more from Madge. Highly recommended!
5.0 out of 5 stars – Threats, attempted murder, re-awakenings!
What an amazing sequel to Inescapable: The Beginning! Darcey can’t remember anything about her former life but her body seems to remember the attractive man that has captivated her! The attempts on Darcey’s life has Brad running around like a mad man!
Madge Gressley has hit another home run with the sequel to her first book! This series is extremely hot and I can’t wait to see what happens to Brad and Darcey! Totally worth the time and money for a story that will pull you in from the first sentence and keep you riveted until the last!!!
Get them! Read them! Write a review! I would love to hear what you have to say.
(Shush! finger to lips)  Keep this under your hat, but there will be a fourth book in 2016. (But this is just between you and me for now.)
