Amazing Review on “INESCAPABLE: REMEMBERING”

INESCAPABLE: REMEMBERING

By Madge H. Gressley

Review by

Car wrecked, kidnapped, auctioned off, drugged, and moved six miles under the Atlantic Ocean. If that wasn’t enough, add amnesia to the mix. Darcey Callahan doesn’t know who she is or where she’s from. She doesn’t remember who ‘the man’ who purchased her is, and although her mind is frightened, her body betrays her. Is it possible that her body remembers what her mind cannot?

Inescapable Remembering

They say, there are some things in life you cannot easily forget.

Evidently, Miss Gressley’s Inescapable series is one of those things for me.

I had the chance to review the first book of Inescapable series which is Inescapable: The Beginning. I was immediately caught up in the whirlwind of action and romance of that book, so when I had the chance to review the second book which is Inescapable: Remembering, I already had very high expectations. I was not disappointed.

Inescapable: Remembering is very much like the first book: fast-paced, intriguing, romance-filled and witty. It’s hard not to fall for the characters, who are all headstrong and almost alive. Miss Gressley’s talent of writing engaging dialogs for the characters is one of the reasons why this book really got me. I love how the feisty heroine argues and then comes closer to Brad, who always puts her as his top priority even though she cannot remember him. Their cat-and-dog-then-lovers drama is both fun and scorchingly hot that you might say (actually, I said this), “C’mon, what are you two doing, waiting that long!”

Readers will also love how Inescapable: Remembering takes them to a variety of places and countries – even to top secret, underwater facilities. It’s not difficult to picture out the location, as Miss Gressley made sure that we can all relate to the environment where the story is unfolding.

Aside from the superb characters and detailed setting, what I find most attractive about this book is how it successfully maintained the energy, momentum, and suspense which the first book of the Inescapable series is widely known of.

Inescapable: Remembering is a guaranteed, wonderful read. In my will not to spill all the beans of this book, I’ll just leave everyone a teaser:

Will Darcey be able to remember Brad and their love for each other? Or will Brad die first trying to protect Darcey from their enemies?

RATING

Inescapable: Remembering deserves 5 out of 5 stars! If you want sizzling romance and bullet-fast suspense, I recommend that you add this book to your bookshelf. 🙂
